What we do / 01

Positioning

Positioning is what your firm says about itself, and what it will not say, written down in plain words. Most financial firms describe themselves the same way. Yours should not.

At the end, you have one document that your partners, sales team, relationship managers and the person who writes your LinkedIn posts can all work from.

How we charge

A fixed fee, quoted in writing after the written note. We do not bill by the hour, and the number at the end matches the number at the start.

What you get

Positioning can be taken on its own. We agree with you which of these parts your firm needs, and leave out the rest.

01

Statement and standard lines

A positioning statement, a short paragraph about your firm for press releases and LinkedIn, and a line partners can say across the table without notes.

02

Who your firm is for

The clients your firm serves best, and the ones it is not built for, so partners and sales can turn the wrong ones away early.

03

What to be known for

The few things you want to be known for, each backed by proof you can show, like your process or team, not claims every peer makes.

04

Next to your closest peer

How you differ from the firm you are most often compared with. Kept factual, never running down the other firm, and checked by your compliance team.

05

Words you use and avoid

The words your firm uses and avoids, so a LinkedIn post, a client letter and a relationship manager's WhatsApp message sound like the same firm.

06

What you can say

Which claims your firm can make, which need a disclaimer, and which to drop. Your compliance team decides, before anyone writes a post or a deck.

How it works

Our Brand & Communication Manager runs the work from start to finish, with the same small team on your account throughout.

  1. 01 / 04

    First, the website note

Our Brand & Communication Manager reads what your website says about your firm and writes back with three or four specific changes. If the note is useful, we talk.

  2. 02 / 04

    The rules come first

We read the rules your firm works under, and speak with your partners and relationship managers. We are not a law firm and do not give legal advice.

  3. 03 / 04

    The same person writes it

Our Brand & Communication Manager, who read your website, writes the document. We then go through the draft with you and your partners.

  4. 04 / 04

    Approved before use

Your compliance team reads every claim in the draft. Nothing in it is used or published, in a post, a deck or a pitch, until they approve it.
